Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Bid/ Contracts Manager will report to the Head of Business Operations, Bid and Commercial Management and is supporting multiple large deals by drafting and recommending commercial contract terms.
The incumbent needs to prepare RFPs, RFQs, quotations, ITQs, MOUs, Letters of Intent, NDAs etc. and to assess the risk level of deals and needs to be well versed in drafting end-to-end Commercial Contracts terms and conditions as well as being involved in drafting 3rd party contracts (eg reseller, partners, teaming, subcontracts, SOWs and MSAs.
Manage and gain respect from Senior Management and a highly diverse and experienced sales and bid support team. Troubleshoot and lead the sales and bid support teams to find the correct solutions to bid problems.
An Excellent command of English and a good communicator, manager and team player who can operate in high pressure, stressful situations to manage the sales, bid support team and senior management representatives to meet the customers’ RFP requirements correctly.
Requirements:
Must be legally trained preferably in Commercial Law. (Not necessary to have LLB), with at least 7 years’ experience in drafting complex customer contracts directly.
Must be able to do end to end commercial contracts; terms and conditions.
Preferably from ICT and Telco-commercial background who is familiar with commercial, technical, project management 3rd party and legal tender processes.

Able to analyse and advise on the solution, delivery, 3rd party, legal and financial risks associated with the bid accurately, flow down the relevant customer RFP requirements to the 3rd party contracts properly and obtain the relevant internal management approvals in the tight RFP timelines.
Must be able to handle reasonable volume and unreasonable requests / situations at times.
